Alex Portfolio — global network, Aviation Management

About the project

Alex Portfolio is my brother’s personal site. He studies Aviation Management. The page presents his education and career path; the globe with connections and nodes reflects the global nature of the industry and international career opportunities.

The site was built as a clean, professional showcase: an about section, education and experience timeline, skills relevant to aviation and logistics, and contact details. The goal is to give recruiters and potential employers a clear picture of his profile and ambitions in the sector. The project is hosted on Vercel and the source code is available on GitHub, so it can also serve as a template for other portfolio sites.

Aviation Management

The degree covers airline operations, transport economics, aviation law, and logistics. Graduates often work in airlines, airports, ground handling, regulators (e.g. EASA, CAA), or consulting. The portfolio showcases his profile, skills, and goals in the field.

Aviation Management combines technical knowledge (fleet planning, operations, safety) with business and regulation. The industry is global and highly connected — routes, hubs, and partnerships span continents. The globe visual on the portfolio underlines this international dimension and the kind of environment he is preparing to work in.

Content and structure

The live site includes: a short bio, education (Aviation Management and related qualifications), work experience and internships, key skills (e.g. operations, analytics, teamwork), and interests linked to aviation and travel. The layout is minimal and easy to scan, with clear calls to action for contact or LinkedIn. Updates can be made directly in the repository and redeployed, keeping the portfolio current as his studies and experience grow.
